Dr. Jeff Thompson (NYPD ret./Columbia University) will be offering an advanced negotiator workshop titled “Narrative Psychology: Utilizing the science of stories in crisis negotiation.” The interactive workshop is designed to teach negotiators how to effectively encourage subjects in crisis to share their story, methods for building affiliation, trust, and rapport, and other related topics which include developing personal resilience and well-being.
